5 days and counting...

It's been 5 days since Mas Selamat Kastari has escaped from Whitely Detention Center. Deputy Prime Minister and Home Affairs Minister Wong Kan Seng reportedly told the media that the JL terrorist is still in Singapore.

So far, little is known about how he escaped, but the Singapore police is led to believe that Mas is still in Singapore. It is curious to note that police believe that he was unaided, and that implies that he is without basic amenities and a hideout. But what if he escaped with help of a network operation? There is also conflicting reports that Mas has escaped Singapore through some unknown backdoor and is now in Indonesia.

A red alert is issued by the Interpol, on top of a previous orange alert, allowing any law enforcement officer among the international police networks 186 member countries to help arrest the terrorist on the spot.

Investigations are still being carried out and no relevant authorities have given any info on how the incident might have happened, leaving much to speculation.
