| The Inter-class Scrabble competition 2008 was held on 19 February and we had a total of 80 participants. Here are the results of the competition. | EL Week - Where Learning is the new Fun. | |
| Dear Marsilings, From 19-20 Feb, the EL & Lit Dept will be having an EL Bazaar at the concourse. Game stalls will be set up and students can have a go at all our games. This fun-learning activities will test your Grammar and Vocab skills! So come on down and join in the fun. Attractive prizes will be given out to winners. The MRL will also be organising their Inter-class Scrabble Competition on 19 Feb. Participants are to report at the Library by 2.30pm sharp. On 21 & 22 Feb, the ELDDS will be putting up a skit entitled, "For Us". This play centers around a teenager, Lynn, and her family. Lynn is the hope of the family and feels pressurised in having to maintain her good grades. Although she faces pressure, she demonstrates maturity and shows concern towards her parents. Her teacher has assigned her with an essay entitled "Integrity" ad Lynn has problems completing it. How does she learn its true meaning? Stay tuned to find out. On 23 Feb, our Lit Elective pupils will be collaborating with a group of Lit Elective pupils from Evergreen Sec. on understanding and appreciating the Pulitzer-Prize winning novel, To Kill A Mockingbird. Entitled "Share-Lit", this event is Marsiling Sec. EL Dept's maiden collaboration with Evergreen Sec. to unfold and scaffold the reasons behind the novel's major hit amongst young readers. Please be reminded that you are to report on 18 February at 2.30pm sharp in the library for the competition. Altogether you will be playing a total of 3 games and winners of this competition will be presented prizes during your respective assemblies. You are encouraged to come to the library and practise in preparation for this competition. All the best to the Scrabble players and we will see you there.

Hi everybody today the last period we had EEM that means Environment Education Module...This file is design by the Tan's family ... lolz....lame .then teacher told us to stay back today but people go hall to report to the teachers that they had not brought the thermometer.... bad then extended to this friday... by the way, on this friday wei ming and his stomach is going to suffer and he surely will miss his fats and cholesterol very much.... oh it's ok because i will generously going to donate him some of my fats and cholesterol so that he won't miss them much ....lolz.......ahhaaaaa anyway Smile always!!! :D BB gtg

then , during the swimming lessons , we were to do our tread water ajnd drown proofing and the others thing we need to do . Then the weiming qroup came to the deepest pool to tried the diving in the water of the deep pool then i saw wei ming and his obesitly stomach in the pool and watching him went down to the water...ahhaaa i remember the first day of swimming lessons is that wei ming is standing infront of me waiting for the testing . Then actually i was in front of him ... ARgg never mind then it was his turn then he showing off that he knows how to swim how ever , it was his turn and i called him to swim then he said proudly that he knows and wait for the coach intruction.To my horror , he was not swimming at al he was walking ... ahhaaaaaa that is bad for him... even now , he was still very proud of himself that he know how to swim ....... BB gtg Smiles always :D

Instead, students will be issued with "Japanese Banana Currency" that can be exchanged with Apples and Buns. During the basket ball training, we change our shirts and pant then we went to the basketball court to jogged 15rounds .. then , during the training , we need to do our physical training that was very hard and tried but no choice... coach said that we need to throw out what we ate for our Chinese New Year ... lolz... the coach was just kidding....lolz...then , the coach need to go to the Singapore Americans school to have a friendly match with the basketball players there.We will have the vicecaptains to train us because the only vice-captain that came.We had match later. After playing the basketball match for a while , the basketball roll off to the physical corner there. Then Wei Ming went there to took the basketball . However , he was taking the basketball to the sit-ups station there to sit for a while , he actually falls and broke one of the sit-ups station bench... lolz... ahahaaaaa that is bad for him ....

Wah!!! * Restless after the training * so tiring sad.... after my basketball training , i am back for my blogging . I look weird in my basketball shoes ......bb gtg by the way happy chinese new year for the chineses and happy two free holidays for you to go home and play games bb

Hello, Everybody. Today morning , my brother and I when to the school in the morning at about 7.20am for the setup in the AVA room ,and with navin also.Then when we setup already , we felt bored then we went to the admintrator office to borrow the key to the control room for the clean up. We wind the wires up and throw all the bottles that people throw anywhere they can. Then suddenly , Ms Dian came up and call my bro down to the AVA room to help with the wireless mikke. Then when we finished cleaning up , we locked up the doors then we went to Ms Dian office to borrow Ms Lye notebook for playing games and doing work . However , there is no wireless connection around us so we never use the internet then we played the games inside the laptop. After about 11.30 , they said that the Tamil talk need to postponed to 12.30pm then they dismissed the students and the parents.Then , we called Lee Cheng and Fatimah to go out to the cauzeway point with me , my bro and Ms Dian. We ate lunch in the causeway point there then we when to the comices cartoon shop there to look at the comices then teacher was smsing while we slowing walk off and sms teacher asking her where is she but too bad Lee cheng go tell teacher to come out ...bad... then we go see the CDs , asking for batteres detactor... but dun have bad.... Then when we wanted to go home , Miss Dian said that she want my bro to treat them then Miss Dian pay money .. .lolz... hahahahahaha. So we went up to the SWEENTSENS there to choose our favourite ice-creams.Then , later it is raining heavy but just now i call terrence to go basketball with me but need to postpponed to next week cauze of the wheather.This picture is miss dian when she did'nt notice us taking photo of her ahahahahaaaa.... bb gtg

and lastly , it was assembly. during the assembly , we need to assembly at the hall and also i need to go and do my AV duty .So , i went up to the Control room to help out . but , nothing much help needed to do , so jus sit down and watch the opera provide by the people that came from china.They perform about the "monkey king " and "journey to the west" .
After that , we had to went up to the claas after eating our lunch because we need to go to the seashore life to pick up the rubbish around the sembawang beach.We were very unlucky becauze, 1st time we went to the sembawan beach and it was raining so we postponed it until today then , today , the bus driver forgotten that he need to come and fetch us up to the sembawang beach.Thirdly , went we reach the sembawang beach , we saw our "competiters" ...from another primary school...so , we went further to the sea and picked up all the litteras i could find on the floor . I found about nearly 80 cirgrette bits on the floor!!! on estimation in singapore , there is lots of smokers near the sembawang there .... lolz..... sad. after picking litters that is further away from the beach , then we went to the beach to see the fishes and jelly fishes died on ashore ....there is 2 fishes , 1 is very huge and another is a common fish size but their mouth are all opened!!! OMG yucks!!!! disgusted. Then we saw about 5 jellyfishes died on the beach then miss neo the environment club who is the teacher in charge put the jelly fishes back to the sea and let them returned to its own environment. ...... after that we went home .... home sweet home before that , we still need to wait for the bus to come . then while waiting , i write down some words on a dried leaves that i found and wrote there: 1m3 was here!!!! ..... dots lol....bad never take a photo of it to show you all to see ... .anyway bb gtg bye everyone!!!!
Now , going to today's blogging.Nothing much to say ..... bad..anyway today is my science test and it is quite easy only that i don't know 10 question ....dots... jus kidding and also after school , Me and fews other malay girls and boys stay back for decoratigng the classrooms. then about 1.45 , it is time to go and left them to the decoration .... then my ccas ..... bb gtg nothing much to say
